Do you know what a permeable surface is? Or, how they can protect OC's waterways? This webinar can help. It will cover creating a permeable hardscape through walkable plants, cutting existing concrete, rain collection, and more. This class is free, but registration is required.
Help Grow Native Plants for Restoration at the Back Bay Science Center. Volunteers assist in seasonal nursery activities such as seed collection and sowing, processing cuttings, composting, and more, no experience needed! Advanced registration is required.
Learn and work together towards habitat restoration stewardship in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Native plants are nature's filtration system to slow stormwater pollution. As a volunteer, you will collect seeds, remove non-native plants, plant native ones. Gloves and tools will be provided. Participants should bring water, closed-toe shoes, layered clothing and sun protection. Advance registration required.
