Help Grow Native Plants for Restoration at the Back Bay Science Center. Volunteers assist in seasonal nursery activities such as seed collection and sowing, processing cuttings, composting, and more, no experience needed! Advanced registration is required.

Do your part at the native plant nursery in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Native plants are nature's filtration system to slow stormwater pollution. Volunteers may collect seeds, sow seeds in flats, bump plants up, plant at restoration sites, sterilize plant containers and help maintain the nursery. All tools and equipment will be provided. Join the mission to protect our underwater pals, keep the wildlife safe, and stop trash in its tracks before it hits the waves with Coastal Corridor Alliance. Every fourth Saturday meet at Newport Lifeguard Tower 74 to pick up trash and help keep our waterways and community clean. Register on Eventbrite and sign the online liability waiver to participate.

Join a public group to kayak through the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve and learn about what makes this place unique! Tours are guided by certified volunteer naturalists.
