The Bolsa Chica Stewards invite the public to join them on the first Sunday and third Saturday of each month for their habitat restoration efforts. Help them care for the new plants, remove non-native plants, pick up trash, and other maintenance tasks to prevent pollution of local waterways. Pre-registration and event sign up is required.

Protect our waterways and prevent stormwater pollution by joining the Bolsa Chica Land Trust for their Monday Cleanups. It’s fun, beautiful, great exercise, AND it helps the environment. Most of the supplies are provided, but if you want, please bring a reusable bucket or bag, and gloves. Cleanup will be cancelled in the event of rain.

Help grow native plants for restoration at the Back Bay Science Center. Volunteers assist in seasonal nursery activities such as seed collection and sowing, processing cuttings, composting, and more, no experience needed! Advanced registration is required.

Do your part at the native plant nursery in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Native plants are nature's filtration system to slow stormwater pollution. Help restore the beauty of Santiago Park and Creek at this clean up opportunity with OC Habitats and the City of Santa Ana! In addition to picking up trash, you'll also be removing invasive plants and learn about the native habitats and species living in Orange County.

Create a healthier habitat for the native plants and wildlife that call Aliso Creek home! Volunteers will assist with various stewardship activities including removing non-native plants, cleaning up the creek or planting native plants.
