Teacher’s Night Out: Following the Flow- Teaching About Our Watershed Systems

Where does our drinking water come from? This question may be a tricky one for students to answer, yet it is essential to understand. In this workshop we will be learning some water basics – developing a framework to understand how watersheds work, reviewing how water is essential to not just ecosystems but all of humanity, and figuring out how water becomes polluted and cleaned again. We will work on making a model of a watershed in order to demystify how water flows, and wrap up by ‘gamifying’ the water cycle.
A light dinner and wine will be served after the workshop concludes.
