Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day by planting trees and shrubs along Oso Creek Trail north of Jeronimo Road! Participants should wear a hat, gloves, boots, and sunscreen, and lunch and ice cream will be available for volunteers while supplies last. The City is also hosting a Green Expo in the open space beside Oso Creek Trail that will feature earth-friendly activities and environmental exhibits with tips on pollution prevention, recycling, and more. Parking will be available at Newhart Middle School and on the Village Green at Norman P. Murray Community Center and complimentary golf cart shuttle service will be provided between parking areas and the event location. To pre-register as a volunteer for this event, fill out an application and waiver form and email them to Vicky Anderson at vanderson@cityofmissionviejo.org.
