2025-2026 Nest Site Restoration

Restoration projects take place between nesting seasons, September-March, on the third Saturdays of the month at one of Bolsa Chica’s major nest sites (depending on California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) needs). Nest site habitat restoration involves removal of invasive and overgrown plants in areas of the Reserve that are off limits to the public.
